Enquiries on my Credit Profile

Can someone please make me understand what the enquiries on my profile are for? This is quite upsetting, what gives FNB the right to conduct an enquiry without my permission. Enquiries A credit enquiry will appear on your report when you apply for credit. They’re visible to other lenders, and too many in a short space of time can bring your credit score down.
