Enough is enough! 6 to 8 weeks to clear a cheque.

I have had enough with FNB. I have been banking with FNB for 8 years now and I now deeply regret it. They turned me down for everything I app**** for e.g credit cards, auto loan, cash advance, temporary loan, overdraft, etc. They only approved me when I app**** to open a personal account, a business account, a 32 day investment account, a share investor account and 4 youth accounts so they can charge me their ridiculous monthly fees. They made me transfer from my normal cheque account to a stupid private account that somehow dropped my eBucks level to 1 and I have been paying R269.10 for FNB connect since November 2014 for what was FREE.

2 weeks ago, I called my USA bank and got approved for a personal loan in the amount of $12,500 = R156,250. Wowwww lucky ME. I received my cheque this morning with Fedex with all the supporting documents for my loan. I then proceeded to my local FNB branch to deposit this cheque. Guess what my fellow South Africans? Your bank told me it is going to take 6 to 8 weeks to clear this cheque. I am a permanent resident here with a valid South African ID. Today FNB really made me think that they discriminate against foreigners. You KILLED me this time!
