Empty Promises/Poor Service

I lodged a complaint on the 17th January 2021 stating that my new cheque card I received in September 2020 was faulty from the start (could not tap at all and inserting the chip worked 20% of the time) and I was charged a card replacement fee for that faulty card.

I initially complained on this platform sometime last year about the various issues with the card and was informed by FNB that someone would contact me but that never happened.

I was contacted by Bongani from the Client Resolution Centre who advised me to order a new card on the FNB app and that he would check my account to see if a replacement fee was charged and reverse it since it was to replaced a faulty card.

The replacement fee was charged on the 21st January 2020 and I contacted the Client Resolution Centre on the 22nd January 2020 (an being on hold for 20 minutes - Seriously??) and was told by the lady that she would inform Bongani that the fee was charged and that he should be able to reverse the fee that day.

I then proceeded to email *** on the 26th January 2021 and nothing has happened.

It is now the 28th January 2021 and nothing has happened, so I have paid FNB R120 for the "privilege" of owning a faulty card for the last couple of months and now again for a new card.
