Empty Promises Holding Up Property Transfer
We sold our property and our lawyers have been trying to obtain our title deed for weeks. FNB have confirmed twice with me, weeks ago, that the bond must be cancelled and have sent confirmation but have yet to complete the process and release the documents. It is holding up the sellers moving in and us moving out. The matter has been escalated and FNB has made nothing but empty promises! Each day they say it’ll be done “tomorrow”. This should have been resolved long ago!!!

09 Jun 2023, 14:26I am STILL struggling to get feedback! The documents were supposed to be sent yesterday morning and no one has confirmed that it was done. In addition, we will start incurring additional expenses in terms of occupational rent, this will now be taken to the ombudsman as we are going to have to pay because of FNB’s incompetence. FNB will be billed for every day of occupational rent, phone calls made, security at the property and any other expenses.
