Empty promises from FNB and not updating payment statuses on Transunion
Email received from FNB,
Kindly be advised that we do not have a paid up letter for the temporary loan as the money is debited in full directly from your cheque account.
Please supply them / Transunion with your cheque account statement reflecting that payment was made. --------------------------------------------------------------------- My recent experience with FNB is rather pathetic and therefore would like as much people as possible to read this below email;
My email to FNB,
I have requested that my Transunion payment status be updated as it will take 21 working days should I log a dispute with Transunion where the actual fault is on FNB's side. FNB is responsible to update payment statuses on Transunion on a monthly basis and not the clients responsibility and yet due to that prevented me from obtaining financing as a result of affordability as my credit score is quite good.
The reason for that being that my affordability does not meet their minimum criteria is because on Transunion it still indicated that I owe FNB an amount of R9184.00 which is not true because of this amount being fully paid on the 25th of October via debit order already.
The fact where FNB stated that FNB cannot provide me with a settlement / paid in full confirmation letter due to a tem loan status is also false as FNB has provided me with one on a previous occasion and also for a temp loan which was also debited from my account.
Please ensure that my ITC payment status at Transunion is updated accordingly before 12h00 today, this is not a request! There are certain rules and client rights to which you think we know nothing of, this is now the second time where as a result of poor client service from FNB that one of my applications were turned down / declined because of FNB not having updated my ITC payment status at Transunion. My credit score is above 615 to 631 which is favorable so where does the problem come in?
Yesterday I have spoken to three different FNB private client consultants where all three advised that they can and will provide me with a settlement confirmation / paid in full letter and also stated that this issue will not affect my affordability but in fact did affect my affordability and never received a letter or explanation as to why my status have never been updated for the past two months!
How Can We Help You? (what FNB always say), well you can start by cleaning up this mess and treat your clients as clients and not as ********* or ****s!
Please feel free to share this email with whom ever you like as from my side, this is exactly what I'm going to do and the very first one will be "www.hellopeter.com" followed by "www.****edconsumer.com" etc.
I've been a loyal client at FNB for nearly 20 odd years and very disappointed in the service I receive! All my accounts are paid up to date with NO arrears whatsoever!
Awaiting your prompt feedback on this matter!
