Empty Promises

Will you please ask the Student loan department for an official response why the Student loan was denied for R 48, 000. 00 - but on the other hand they approve a personal loan for more than double the amount. It does not make sense at all.

I was so impressed when I walk into the Centurion Branch, but there is no words for the disappointment I experience now, after dealing with the Student Loan department at FNB. Nearly 3 days running around to get all paperwork in order for nothing

From the first day I walk into the Branch - I made it very clear why I want to move from Standard Bank to FNB. (I was not happy with the Student Loan Interest rate at Standard Bank)

Wednesday 16 November
A very Professional and friendly lady ********** help me at the Centurion Branch.
From the start - the expectations was made clear, and why I want to move. She recommended the following:

Open an Private Tjek and Credit Card account first and only apply for the Student loan the following day.

That was done on the recommendation from the bank.

Thursday 17 November

Send all docs as per FNB process to ********** />

Friday 18 November

Phone Student Loan department and apply online
Student loan of R 48, 000. 00 was denied but personal loan for more than double the amount approved R 112, 000. 00

No reason was provided and even the gentleman that help me said he cannot understand this. Why not telling me from the start - it should have save me this 3 days running around.

Lastly, will FNB reconsider and If the answer is no - I would like to come in and pick my R100 deposit that was made in the tjek account, close all account because this was a dependency from the start?
