Electronic banking failure and I pay the price

I have been a loyal customer of FNB for many years. After many sms's by FNB nagging me to set up an auto-payment on my credit card via electronic banking, I decided to do so, even though I was very nervous to do so - because WOW I will earn more ebucks. Unfortunately your system failed me (which I feared) & I was charged a ridiculous amount in interest, even after I settled my account the very next day (after I noticed the system failure). After 8 working days (instead of the 48 hours promised to premier customers), I was basically told that I am the stupid one on the electronic banking system & that I am liable for the interest. And probably laughing in the background...we caught another fool and sucked her dry. But as a 'token of goodwill' a couple of ebucks will be thrown my way. This is not goodwill. Goodwill is defined as friendly, helpful, consideration for others and compassion.

I'm just REALLY disappointed in FNB. Loyalty means nothing nowadays. The customer is always wrong.
