Electricity processed after online banking error
I tried to purchase electricity via cellphone banking but the service did not work, I then tried via online banking and I got an error message, I tried again a few mins later and got another error message. I tried again after a few hours and a R300 electricity purchase was processed. I checked and found that FNB allowed the previous attempts without confirmation to be processed. I only wanted R300 electricity and now I have x3 tokens for R300. I phoned FNB and they advised that the municipality needs to solve, I phoned the municipality and they advised FNB needs to solve, I phoned the prepaid municipality and they advised that in order to solve the problem a municipal worker needs to be sent to the property at a cost ofr R424 (deletion fee). I see this is why no one is claiming responsibility. FNB says I needed to take a screenshot of the error but I could not. FNB is passing the buck as the system used to process payments via online methods are faulty and consumers are not being made aware before making purchases. I want my R600 back and want FNB to fit the bill of R424 to send a municipal worker so that they can reverse the tokens for a refund. I feel my rights are being violated
