Ebucks supervisor, Pendile gives incorrect information that costs me R1500

Ebucks are already so difficult to earn and the great discounts and rewards that were previously given are no longer on offer. It is so difficult to find info online and when you call in with an issue you get spoken to like a child and laughed at by the ebucks consultants!

On 11 October, I bought a Cape Union Mart voucher from the ebucks store for R1500 which I used the same day the the store. Once I got home I saw I was not goven the 40% discount offered by ebucks. When I called the call center I was told that you only qualify for the discount on R1000. I then spoke to the supervisor, Pendile. She told me that if I do a refund at the store and they can reverse the voucher then she can cancel it and I can then buy a new voucher for R1000 and get the disount. So on 15 October, I did a refund at the store, they reversed the voucher and I purchased a new voucher to pay for my items. I then called the ebucks call center again to get the voucher cancelled and then was told that they can't cancel the voucher because it has already been spent. The voucher has definitely been reversed as I can see on the FNB app that the amount which was previously R0 is now R1500 and I got a reciept from the store stating the voucher has been reversed. I then got a call a few days later telling me that there is nothing that can be done and that they listened to the previous phone call and Pendile did not tell me that the voucher can be cancelled. I have the phone call saved and Pendile CLEARLY says that if the store can reverse the voucher she can cancel it. If she had not said this I would not have bought a second voucher.

Firstly, there is no information anywhere on the ebucks website that says if I spend over R1000 I will not get any dicount it just states that anything over R1000 will not be dicounted. I got no discount at all not even on the R1000.

Secondly, I was told by the SUPERVISOR at ebucks that she would cancel the voucher if I was reversed, which it was and now I am being told that it can't be done.

It is ridiculous that I have to pay to sit on hold to the ebucks call center to fix an issue that was caused by the supervisor and then get told that she didn't say she can cancel the voucher when she clearly said it in the call that I also have saved and have listened to again.

As a loyal FNB and ebucks customer for over 6 years I hope you can review this issue.
