eBucks shambles

I am a senior citizen and have been an FNB customer since Barclays became FNB. Until a couple of weeks ago I had a premier cheque account and linked credit and cheque cards. FNB recently announced that in order to earn eBucks on a premier account one had to log on to the FNB app at least once a month. According to the notice, this requirement only app**** to Premier accounts. This caused me a problem, as I do not have, neither do I want, a smart phone. So I emailed premier personal banking and got a reply email telling me that I would still earn eBucks, just not for using the app. On the same day I got a general email from FNB clearly stating that I would not earn eBucks. So I went into my local FNB branch, and was told that I could definitely not earn eBucks on Premier, but could if I downgraded to a gold account, which I proceeded to do. Then last week I received a phone call from a lady at FNB, I think as a follow-up to my original inquiry, telling me that I could not earn eBucks unless I logged on to the app. I told her that that was why I had downgraded my account to gold, and she told me that it made no difference which type of account I had, in order to earn eBucks I had to download and use the app. I informed her that according to FNB's documentation as well as their in-branch staff this was not the case. She asked me if I would consider acquiring a smart phone, to which I rep**** "no". She said she would seek clarity and get back to me by email. I have since heard nothing, and my latest credit card statement shows that I am not earning eBucks.

A couple of days ago I received a call from FNB asking me if I wanted to upgrade my account to Premier! I politely declined
