eBucks Lifestyle farce

I’m appalled at the service levels of E-Bucks Lifestyle rewards. Apparently I qualify for a number of Avis Point to Point trips through my FNB credit card, but when I tried to book an Avis Point to Point 23 hours in advance, I have to pay for it because I missed the 24 hour deadline.

The issue is not about paying because I can pay for an Uber to get me to the airport and it will be half the price of an Avis point to point with much less hassle. My issue is that I get told they can arrange the service if I pay for it even if it’s less than 24 hours in advance, but I can’t use a free trip I qualify for because I missed the 24 hour deadline by 1 hour? That’s like giving me a restaurant voucher but saying I can only come redeem it after 10pm otherwise it’s not valid and it all gets hidden away in the T’s & C’s!

If they told me no trips can be booked within the 24 hour cut off whether it be paid or free then I would understand because it means it’s actually impossible. But if it’s possible and I get told I have to pay for it, that annoys!

Really disappointing!!!
