eBucks Level - FNB Vehicle Finance

At March month end, I cashed in a Fixed Deposit which was used by eBucks as one of my products to have me on Level 5. Following this, my Level was immediately dropped to Level 4 on my April rewards (for March transactions). I was surprised, because FNB Vehicle Financing should have replaced my Fixed Deposit and kept me on Level 5.

I contacted FNB online via the banking login and eBucks contacted me very quickly to say that I do not have FNB Vehicle Finance but Wesbank Private Finance.

I originally app**** for the finance online off the FNB Vehicle Finance page and Wesbank is part of FNB, so I would assume that my financing is via FNB Vehicle Finance --- even my statement each month has the FNB logo and indicates that the Credit Provider is FNB Vehicle Finance.

The eBucks consultant said I should phone 0 ********** 65.... they then transferred me to 0 ********** 72.... the consultant Clarissa said that as far as she know FNB and Wesbank finance qualifies for eBucks levels and its usually only finance via a motor dealer that doesn't, but said I needed to talk to someone on 0 ********** 00 which she tried to put me through to. I could not hold, so called back later. After 20 minutes on hold without a consultant answering, I gave up.

eBucks say they can only go by the data given to them by FNB when processing reward levels and rewards. I believe FNB has a very complex reward system and that the way they process it does not match up to the material information contained in their marketing. Due to the confusion over who the provider of the finance is, I have dropped a level and this month, I have lost nearly eB5000 and am unable to buy vouchers at my usual 40% discount.

This needs to be remedied and my eBucks level and rewards reinstated ASAP.

I got feedback that my eBucks will be corrected to Level 5 at the next cycle upload in May. However, nothing has changed.... my level remains at 4 and again, my rewards are lower than they should be because of this. I guess I'm going to get the usual apology and statement that this will be corrected at the next update. What's going on FNB.... How are you going to help me????

Once again, I got feedback that my eBucks will be corrected to Level 5 at the next cycle upload in June. However, nothing has changed.... my level remains at 4 and again, my rewards are lower than they should be because of this. My prediction was correct that I'd get the usual apology and statement that this will be corrected at the next update. In the past, when FNB messed up, they offered compensation by means of additional eBucks --- seems they don't even do this anymore. So, is the problem going to be remedied in the July cycle now or will I be adding another reply then????
