Ebucks is a headache all the time.
I called Ebucks customer care last week, a lady helped me with both my account and my husbands. Firstly, my name is Mrs Pillay, Ebucks messages me as a Mr Bhana. Next everything I tried to rectify on my husbands account seems to be still hanging in the balance today when 'Track my Rewards' was updated, which again leaves my husband on level 3 instead of level 5 lowering his earning potential as well as rate. I was also not certain of the 3 budget set up so the lady assisted me whilst on a call, but she does not seem to know what she was doing either because today those points are still showing as 0, meaning that there no limits set. I followed this lady's directions. My daughters Y account has been linked to my husband from earlier this year, but in July and Aug, the points were 0 even though there was more than R300 transferred. NAV Home also shows 0 points although the lady assisted me on what to to do with that set up. So even though my husband should be on level 5 by 1 Sept, Track my Rewards shows level 3, this is very frustrating. This just goes to show that the employees at Ebucks are inadequately trained and have zero knowledge on how to assist their clients. So who does one turn to. I spoke to someone at Discovery Bank, their transactions fees work out to R10 per month and their rewards programme is less complicated as Ebucks. Im looking at moving mine and my husbands accounts over. Ebucks isnt as attractive as it used to be. The earning rate on the Gold account is almost nothing now, theres no point banking with FNB to be earning nothing.
