EBucks **************

If you're considering FNB, make sure you do your homework. There's always a catch with their style of banking and it's becoming a little tiresome.

FNB used to be the best but I've had quite a few run ins over the last 3 years, like no other bank could beat them, but since Covid-19 started it's been one thing after the other.

The latest (where I am now a little fed up) is with EBucks. It's a great rewards program if you devote at least one day a month to spend time doing all the random things they want you to do to remain on level 5.

Once on level 5, you receive 40% discount on certain items and 40% back in EBucks on certain items. Don't let them lure you in with 40% discounts on flights because only the most expensive flights are discounted so even if you get the discount, it is still more expensive than the cheapest flight you can find anywhere else. I'm here today because you can earn 40% back on your Netflix and Spotify subscriptions... the only catch is that you have to conform to a conservative ideology in order to achieve this. You need to have a spouse or life partner to be verified, or you need an FNBy account linked to your account ie. someone that is single and doesn't have kids will be discriminated against in this regard.

You'd think in a country like South Africa, this kind of behavior would be something of the past, but I'm looking forward what FNB does next in the mission to make it near impossible to remain on level 5 Ebucks.
