ebucks discount levels not worth it

The ebucks programme has become an absolute joke. I have been on level 5 - 40% discount but it's absolutely pointless considering that there is actually nothing in the store for which that level discount can be used for. ebucks was my biggest reason for moving both my wife and I over from Standard bank many years ago. I had since convinced many of my colleagues to move over as well as the discounted items on your level was well worth it considering you could get to the highest level. For almost a year now, achieving a level 5 discount level has become a useless endeavor and they are well aware of it as I have sent previous emails regarding this with 0 response or any improvements on discount level deals offered in the ebucks store since.

FNB -Your programme is becoming as bad as ucounts rewards and all the other failed ones out there. This ebucks programme attributed to the desired growth in middle class FNB clientele over the years, much by customer like me who convinced our network of friends and family to join leave their current banks for you, all by word of mouth. Don't let that intangible marketing contribution be lossed when you analyse your bottom line.

You use to have useful items like vouchers from stores we actually use day to day, and desirable tech items (like apple products) discount level offerings that customer really benefited from. I don't think I've seen anything useful to spend a single ebuck on where a discount level was app**** to anymore.

The ebucks store has just become another online store with uncompetitive pricing and discount level offerings on products that nobody actually wants.

If you are looking to switch over to FNB specifically the ebucks programme, Don't!!! it's not what it use to be. I'm looking to move my Private wealth account over to Discovery where my good behavioural banking habits will be rewarded far better.

It's tough out there for all businesses, but this has been an issue for many months pre Covid and seems to be continuing. A missed opportunity in these tough times for you customers
