eBucks Delivery Charges are Horrible
I tried purchasing a kettle from the eBucks store within the FNB app. The cost of kettle after discount is R240. The delivery to Durban is R192. When I queried why this is much higher than other online stores and asked if there was any alternate delivery methods, I was told delivery is dependent on location and asked to try a partner store. I had to then explain that I was trying to purchase using the full discount. Then the lady asked for a screenshot. How difficult is it to simulate a delivery to any destination in Durban? eBucks stores delivery costs really needs to meet Industry standards. Your call centre should try to be more helpful than to tell someone to shop elsewhere!

26 Apr 2019, 09:26I received a call from Firdoze at "FNB Care" yesterday who asked that I forward my previous email correspondence to her department, which I did. I then received a call from Gladwyn this morning who explained that the delivery charges were set by the courier and that they are not in control of that. He then asked me who I was comparing delivery charges against and who else could offer the eBucks discount and allow you to conclude your trade in eBucks. This is not the issue. The issue is you have partnered with a VERY expensive courier company and this is hurting your platform and customers. In the end, he said delivery is beyond his control.
