EBucks and Pathetic Service

The service and what seems to be deliberate misleading marketing is terrible from FNB. Having switched to FNB hoping for better service, and FNB boasting about leading with technology, is just another lie that companies use to gain consumers. Being in a recession and the whole world facing a Pandemic, exactly how are banks assisting its clients? If we take out a loan, the interest rates are around 20-30 percent, whilst on a savings account it is around 4 - 5 percent.

I recently experienced terrible service from FNB Ebucks. On the 07/07/2020, I had been credited with 7261 worth of ebucks, as I was on Level 5. On the 23/07/2020, over 2 weeks later an "adjustment" was done, and due to a system error, I was moved to Level 4, although the previous months I was on Level 5, but somehow I now got calculated to Level 4, and from a balance of 18147, now I have a balance of 14551. This is a deficit of R350.00. I even have a statement printed out on the 28/07/2020, stating the initial credit of 7261, and not there adjustments. Upon querying this with eBucks, I was given the answer that FNB is allowed to do credits and debits on ones account as they please without informing the client, and it was in the terms and conditions. Upon asking for the terms and conditions, I was told it cannot be sent to me, as FNB does not allow for mails to be sent out. The consultant will call me back and direct me to where this is found.

This is my second query regarding ebucks, as i had spent over a thousand rand in fuel on the last day of the month, and although the money left my account on the last day, although I would of gotten charged interest from the time money left my account, FNB Rewards Program's Terms and Conditions somewhere tell its clients that it is only when the store processes the payment. Where are these Terms you speak off?

Is this the type of service that FNB give to its clients? I was planning on moving a car loan to FNB, but with this type of service, and being cheated off a rewards program, of which I was not made aware of the underlying terms and conditions upon signing up, I am second guessing the move.

Due to the change of the ebucks rewards program one cannot even check the previous level, as there is nothing on the system.

At FNB, is this the service offered to clients? or is this just a Marketing Technique used for South Africans? Robbing them during a time of need?
