Ebucks Allocation - October 2017

Good Day.

I noticed a discrepancy in my total spend for October 2017. When I enquired about it from the Ebucks team, I was advised that a transaction to the amount of R15700 on 28 October was not processed as it reflected as a payment.

This is in spite of the fact that I swiped my card, and did not process a payment in respect of this amount. The call centre was unable to assist in rectifying this as they are of the opinion that it was indeed as a payment. The consultant indicated that this is covered by the T&Cs, but he couldn't direct me to it and told me that he would respond via email. I haven't any correspondence subsequently.

The fact remains that customers are told that they will earn for all credit card swipes. I swiped my credit card. I was not charged any payment fees, as is the case when a payment is made using a credit card. How the bank deals with the transaction should not impact on me, I did my part.

Failing to honour this I believe is disingenuous of FNB Ebucks as it is a technical sacpegoat and does not reflect well at all. Kindly rectify this.
