Ease of business is a joke to FNB.

Yet another negative review.

For the last week and a half I have been trying to make contact with Joyce Lepele so that I can get clarification on the current settlement on an overdue account with FNB.

I require a recon to ensure that all my transfers have been allocated to this overdue account.

The amount of time I have wasted on calls and emails to FNB with no resolution is absolutely pathetic.

I have finally resorted to ANOTHER complaint.

TO NOTE:

I HAVE BEEN VERY FORTUNATE TO HAVE BEEN ABLE TO PAY ALL MY CREDITORS IN FULL DURING LOCKDOWN.......I HAVE ONE ACCOUNT I AM TRYING TO SETTLE.......AND THIS ACCOUNT IS WITH FNB.

EASE OF BUSINESS IS A JOKE WITH FNB.

What type of response is this?

I dont want a generic hellopeter response, generic emails and smses with the same thats stated as above.

I want FNB to either give me a number which actually works - that doesnt cut the call or divert me to the wrong FNB consultants that are working from home and cant help me.

Or I want FNB to answer my emails from last week already.

Or I want FNB to actually return my messages.

Or I want FNB to wake up and provide the service they used to before i got fed up and started banking with one of your competitors - rather successfully as well by the way.

Wake up FNB!!!!!

Finally get a call back at 17h00 on the 2nd of November.

As I am saying goodbye to my family and about to climb into an uber to O.R Thambo.

I advise that its not a good time as I have been chasing FNB for the last two weeks already and FNB can call me back 08h00 the next day - today 11/03/2020.

Its now 09h00 on the 3rd and no call back.

Pathetic. Useless.

Finally a call from FNB at mid day.

After much discussion, it was ascertained that TSL Legal department - on behalf of FNB - had also not allocated a payment from September. This payment was only allocated in October - a month later.

This is exactly why I asked for a recon.

Furthermore, I received a call from TSL Legal at 14h50 asking me what payments I had made in a very unprofessional and confused manner - indicating that they do not even have an understanding of the payments that have been made.......and also clearly do not understand what has been paid and what has not.

Its important to note that this is the first call I have received from them in more than two months.

I do not want TSL Legal services calling me any longer. I have paid the monies outstanding and settled the debt which I was liable for.

I feel that TSL Legal services have tried to inflate an account more than necessary and have not allocated payments to FNB timeously thus potentially recording inaccurate information on my credit record.

This could have also forced me into paying way more money than what I was actually liable for.

I await my settlement letter so that I can carry on with my life.

Regards.

Brandon.
