E-bucks Makro virtual voucher down

I tried to purchase the Makro virtual voucher from the ebucks shop, but it was removed from the list because of technical difficulties. I then proceeded to purchase the goods at Makro using my e-bucks card. Today I saw that no discount was given for the purchase according to the e-bucks level that I am on (40%) a difference of +- R 600. I phoned e-bucks and was informed of the technical difficulty on the weekend, but also that no discount is given when purchasing at the till using the e-bucks card. I tried to find out if it was possible to reverse the transaction, but was told that policy does not make an allowance for it. Regardless of the technical difficulty that resulted in the purchase over the till, I will still not be accommodated. E-bucks is awesome, but the service in this scenario was bad.<br>
