Dropping lines lead to dropping clients, or this client is dropping off at least
I've now had enough with FNB service suite. I've called now 4 times in attempt to open a secondary transactional account with FNB, with my latest call served by a lady named Dudu. I calmly asked that I'd like to open a secondary account and said that if I cannot be assisted with this to please get a direct answer as I've been getting mad at other sales agents trying to play the****** and "understanding the need I have" while also "not understanding what I'm trying to accomplish". As a sales consultant, how difficult would it be to take a product and sell it to a customer now at the brink of begging to be served? As expected, Dudu did like all the other and rep**** with "I'm going to put you directly through to an agent who will be able to assist", to which I responded "Dudu, please don't drop the line or transfer me to that line that keeps dropping, I've tried now how many times and if you cant assist I'll take my business elsewhere". Dudu: "No sir, this is a direct transfer. The agent will be able to assist you".
You guessed it... I was transferred to some line where the FNB automated voice informs you that this Isa line no longer in service... And ba dam pa dam... The line dropped.
I've now struggled for roughly 24 hours to open a new account on these "easy to use channels" put in place for "promoting self service" and some other corporate buzzword regurgitation. Very dissatisfied, and worst of all is, only now that I've posted this review will an FNB staff member truly attempt to assist me and sad part is that I would have already taken my business elsewhere by that time.
