Dreadful poor KYC service/support

Absolutely dreadful again. The worst bank in the country. Will be closing all my accounts after 10 years of pathetic service! Recieved a KYC email (I live in the UK but still have financial commitments in SA) gave them proof of adress, passport, ID, visa, UK bank statements, utility bills even my employment contract and more to proof my status. After a week of sending information the KYC department it went silent I assumed all was good. I sent money to SA to cover my debt after it didn't show I did an online secure chat and was informed there was restrictions on my account. Without any warning full cooperation ftom my side it just magically got restricted. No correspondence and apparently no way to get my funds transferred back either. I am now done with that bank if they are unwilling to assist I am going to assume they also don't care about me repaying their bank loan. Probably expect me to jump on a plane and go sort it out face to face as their staff are to *********** to assist. Absolutely ******* avoid this place like the plaque no customer service at all

Reviewer Update
I did however recieve assistance of some sort after the complaint. However, ironically one of the staff members said its alot of paperwork and I probably forgot to submit all. I immediately looked on my emails and the documents in question was signed and submitted on the day I said and again no accountability and no resolution! I was lucky enough to have someone with signing rights over my accounts who had to take off work to go and sort everything out. Here is were I can give some praise the staff at FNB Wilkoppies branch as always have been very good, understanding and willing to assist and sorted everythingthe same day. So a big thank you for assisting where the relevant dedicate department could not or could not be bothered. Either way Wilkoppies branch have been great. KYC department will cost FNB many customers
