Down grade/ Stop my account

Hello Peter<br> <br> I have a cheque account with FNB which I have been loyal to them so many years as I had an income, now that I don't and I consulted FNB branch many times to assist me down grade the account or to get me a lesser account, as I did not want to loose this account, but i seemed not to get a solution and spoke to one person everytime when I am in the Kempton Park branch to assist me his name is Thabo, and the last time when I was in the branch the told me the account has not been used and is gonna close itself automatically, now I have just recieved an email from the bank telling me that my account is owing R517,95 which I tried my best not to fall on this by paying it off so they rather close it cause I don't need my name to be spoiled.<br> <br> How possible it is to open an account and impossible to close it? I'm back home in Delareyville town in North West and I also visited the branch and they told me to go back to my own branch to get assistance. This is totally a nightmare cause I told them that I do not have an income that is WHY I personally consulted the bank to close the account as soon as possible.<br> <br> So Peter you are the only solution to this matter.<br> <br> Regards<br>
