Double thumbs up to FNB

How can a ***** make a ********** purchase purporting to use a debit card which never leaves the owner's purse except by her hand and has a PIN known only to her? I am sure all the villains out there could give me lots of good answers. When it happened to me recently I felt instantly vulnerable and out of control. Also, furious to think that some random ***** had judged me to be easy prey. There had been no ***** phone calls or Emails, and I am definitely no push-over had there been any. But there it was, in my in-box courtesy of FNB in contact, R178. 00 paid to Mathway - a company I had never heard of. I phoned FNB ***** later that day and cancelled my card. The money had gone, a small amount in the scheme of things, but there were plenty of people I would rather have given it to. Still annoyed at being ****med, I was delighted when 15 days later the money was returned to my account. But that's not the end of the story, 23 days later the ***** tried again - using my cancelled PIN. This time the transaction was immediately reversed. I would love to think that led to the *****'s arrest, and the spilling of beans of how he/she had managed to purloin my PIN. Anyway, if it hadn't been for FNB in contact, a system that really works, chances are my account would have become the *********'s ***gy-bank to dip into at will. So, a double thumbs up to FNB.
