Double debits

On 12 September 2015 I went shopping and made use of my card for purchases. When I have to make an EFT transfer making use of the spped point services, it declined for the first time, and went through for the second time with double the amount I have made purchases.

It also reflected in my e-mail and cellphone notifications that payments were made to the store. I waited patiently in anticipation hoping that the declined transaction for the amount that went through out of my account will be reversed, and unfortunately it was not the case.

I approached the bank on Monday 14 September 2015 and they could detect in their system and I fil**** in the form and the refernce number for the reversal of the money back into my account was promised to be transfered back to my account.

To date nothing was done by the FNB despite having spoken to them telephonically and it has been a month and three weeks, all they did was to tell me that nothing went out of my account despite having given them proof of all the transactions that went out of my account on the 12 September 2015.

I lost interest in the bank as I feel that is an internal routine thing. They bank was not helpful at all.
