Double Debit Order
Last year I changed from FNB back to Capitec due to FNB's high fees. My personal loan went up with R500.00, and according to FNB this was because my installment was incorrect and I paid too little for about 2 years (personally I think I got penalized for changing banks). Last month, my salary was paid late (30th instead of 25th), so out of courtesy and not wanting a bad credit score, I contacted FNB on 29 April 2015, to tell them what's happened. They said no problem, the debit order will stay active for a couple of days. When my salary got paid into my bank account on the 30th, FNB deducted my installment twice!!!! I phoned them and I was told I would be refunded within 48 hours, but due to the public holiday, it meant Tuesday (05/05/2015). I am still waiting and no one even bothered to contact me or anything!!! (I'm just hoping my money is earning interest now.) I'm glad I became a \Steve"again because FNB is the worst bank ever!!!!!!"""
