Double Card transaction
FNB doubled a transaction with my supplier done on 23/09/2022 on my Credit Card for an amount of R44878.75. This amount went off my Credit Card on 26/09/2022 twice. My supplier(M*** Limited) has logged a call (REF ***) with FNB on the 27/09/2022, I have also received an SMS from Standard Bank (Standard Bank: Due to a processing error at an agent bank, card purchases made between 19 and 24 September may be duplicated on your account. We are working with the agent bank to reverse the transactions. Funds will be credited to your account. We apologise for the inconvenience.) advising me of the error. This amount has still not been reversed to me since then and being month-end my payments are not going through and also this has messed my funds around and my debits on my Current account are also failing. How do I claim back the failed transaction fees as from FNB. I have contacted FNB via there online reporting and still no reply. I have tried calling FNB a number of times today *** and keeps getting cut off after waiting over 20 minutes.
My money is taken from my account since 23/09/2022, it has caused me huge financial issues and losses and nobody can assist me with this. With the issue not being resolved due to their systems doubling a transaction that was made only once, for now I can say FNB has "******" my money until this is resolved.
I now also have to wait 20 days before the banking ombudsman can help me?
20 days to get MY MONEY BACK, this is also ridiculous, this problem should have been resolved as soon as they realised the problem occurred. I received an SMS from Standard bank informing me about the issue.
FNB service is USELESS.
