Dormant account

I have always banked with FNB in South Africa.

I now live in the UK and need to use my FNB account for to recieve my fathers inheritance after his death and my account is dormant. I do not apreciate the absence of a warning that my account would become dormant as I would have corrected that. I can no longer access my account and I am not able to find any advice other than " please go to Claremont with your ID". Obviously I cannot fly to South Africa to show my ID. I have sent two emails to FNB with no response now. Ir emember FNB's customer service being much better.
