Don't trust FNB with any settlements.
FNB offered a settlement with HP attorneys for my credit card. It was settled and closed. Just to find they have relisted my which affected my credit score negatively.
Surprisingly, I get a demand letter from Barret Legal as instructed by FNB. This is after receiving the settlement letter from HP Attorneys. I would advise that no one every use their facilities as the don't put their customers first.
As it stands, I'm moving all my business accounts to a new service provider. You can't even get assistance over the phone and all they do is chat. I'm currently dealing with Primrose from Legal who has also no provided her last name.

06 Sept 2024, 11:13Not good enough. While you sit relaxed, our credit scores are affected by you not honouring your agreements. It is now my responsibility to be calling your debt collectors because of no structural processes to see if an account has been settled?
I'm already moving both my business accounts. I've been with FNB for over 20 years. that relationship is now ending. You never assisted me in my business anyway.
