don't think your private clients account means anything when applying for a home loan, neither does pre approval. FNB

I am a "private clients" account holder but what does this mean? I app**** for pre approval from my bank so as not to end up messing around a seller, an estate agent and ultimately wasting my time, I was given a figure including a rented out property. I was completely upfront all the way and had my offer accepted on a property, received an offer in principal which contained the clause that my other property should be sold. this is not acceptable to me and I reiterated this to Vishal Binessaree - the FNB home loans advisisor who wrote to me saying "once the valuation is done we can discuss other ways of finance" I advised him that I could not provide more than the 10% I had so if the "alternate ways" were me finding more cash then this would not work! the evaluation was done, I paid my deposit and when I pushed them into a corner they said they would need more money!!!! my offer has run out and now neither him nor my personal banker Lerato Mkgosi are returning my calls! I am now in discussion with SA Homeloans who are returning my calls.
