Don't offer advise after something went wrong, help me prevent it in the first place

FNB pretends to make banking convenient, with innovative products like eBucks. In reality, their products are disjoint, and customers have no real way of knowing how many points (regarding reward levels) they have until the next month.

Perhaps FNB expects me to use my time and become an eBucks expert? If their products were actually easy to use, I wouldn't have fallen into arb pitfalls like changing my scheduled payment and thus skipping a month on my tax free account. I actually couldn't put in any more because the change in the schedule resulted in two debits on the same month.

I can appreciate that they don't actually care about their customers because they have many. But let's not pretend to care. What's frustrating: I got an SMS telling me, after the fact, that I could have reached rewards level 5 if I did a scheduled transfer. A bit too late FNB. Stop trying to be innovative: try to be simple and transparent.
