Don't act as if you're doing me a favor...

FNB charged me a fee for dishonoring a purchase "because i bought stuff without money in my account" Funny thing how the store let me walk out with the stuff in hand and funny how the transaction was approved. I complained about this and received a response that there was other transactions that went off before the RESERVED transaction amount (from the store) went off. 1. I checked the dates on my account. I bought from PNP before these other transactions went off. 2. what's the meaning of reserved? Why reserve the funds for that purchase if its not really reserved at all. 3. I transfer money back and forth from my savings pocket because of stuff like this. No transparency in my own bank account. The money left over after my purchase was going to go off for the temp loan, i am aware of that. And it did. So there was still enough money for my purchase. 3. The debit interest that you decided to debit not even on the agreed upon date sent my account into a negative balance, maybe because i decided to stuff you and settle my overdraft account. but even then that transaction has NOTHING to do with the purchase i made BEFORE that day. So now you email me saying you'll reverse the fee out of goodwill? waha. YOU take money from me for no reason and then you act as if im the idiot, when i try to keep very very close wraps on my account, since i know what a bunch of s.c.am.mers you are. you've just proven it again. How do you reserve transactions, when any other transactions afterwards can influence that reserved amount. when are you going to give your clients a clear and honest way to bank. Should i not swipe at all, because FNB is the only bank that has these issues with their swipe transactions. FNB is the only bank that comes with the same excuse that "merchants bank late" or my favorite excuse from a consultant lately" Maybe the merchant is using a China Mall speedpoint machine" Reserved transactions should be reserved, put aside, meaning no other transactions can be paid by the reserved transaction's money. Duh. It's not ME dishonoring my transactions at the store; goodness knows i won't be able to leave the store then, and if i did try i would end up in jail quite obviously; its FNB who doesn't have their business together, shifting blame between merchants and your *********** system. Please fix yourselves. I have a very good mind in closing my account with you guys and going to a different bank. Im fed up about having to fight about the same damn thing over and over again.
