Don't Switch to FNB, (enter FNB theme tune here)

Two days ago I decided that it was time to leave the absolutley amazing bank Capitec as I needed an account with more capabilities than a pure savings account. Switch to FNB they said, it is hassle free. On the contrary. I have done nothing but fight with FNB over the past two days to sort out my phone number as it is sending information to a number I have never seen before. When I opened the accout at the Cresta branch it first of all took me an hour and a half for this man to run around, lost, and then he still didn't do his job properly. He indicated that there was a number on the system which I did not recognise at all and I requested that he change that number to my actual number on the system. I asked him to do this on 3 occasions. EVENTUALLY my account was set up and I could leave. Then this morning I tried logging on to my Online Banking only to find that my One Time Pins were being sent to this random number. I called the enquiries helpline and verified myself by answering all the questions they could have possibly asked me correctly. I then explained my situation and was told that they cannot change my number on the system if I do not know that number and that I must once AGAIN go and sit at a branch hoping that someone will actually change the number this time. Now I want to know why a mistake on FNB's side must all of a sudden become my problem? Your customer care in this country is absolutely disgusting and two days in I am already considering dropping you as my bank and being with a bank that actually cares about their customers. Terrible terrible terrible !!! DON'T SWITCH TO FNB !!!
