Don't EVER bank with FNB
I have been a FNB customer from a very young age. I have never experienced a problem with their service, except the last year. Bank fees went up, I was charged for things I've never been charged with. I actually qualified for an overdraft, with I gladly accepted. At the moment I'm going through a divorce, have no income and I had to cancel a lot of my things. In November all my debit orders was send back due to my ex husbands gambling problem. I ended up borrowing money to just get my account out of the red. I then saw that I had to pay a fee of over R700! For a person that dont have any income, that is a huge amount. I was then told Theres nothing to be done about the matter and that i have to pay it. So I ended up borrowing more money to pay that. In December my ex husband gambled out all our money again. So i contacted the companies to cancel all my debit orders, only to find all of them went off again.again. Unsuccessful payment. More fees.I then went into the branch and requested help and explained my sistuation. I.I was told sorry, we cant help you, oh and by the way, if you don't settle this arrears, we will put you on ITC. There's a lot more, but no characters left. I just
