Don't Call Me Maybe

In March 2016 I was stuck in Cape Town with no cash to come back. I decided as a last resort to increase the limit on my Platinum Credit Card by R5,000 just to drive back to Pretoria. The online facility was great in that I could increase my limit online, however I could not increase it by R5,000 - I was forced to increase it by R75,000. Oh well.

I accepted the increase and then nothing. I made an alternative arrangement to get home and a few weeks later my increase came through. Except that I was now bumped up from Premier to Platinum and my card was cancelled. Yikes.

So I phoned FNB on 11 April 2016 and the guy helped me cancel the Platinum card (which I never took deliver of) and advised that I would have a new Premier card issued, but I would have to wait 3 weeks for them to process it.

On 16 May 2016 I sent @Rbjacobs a message explaining that I currently had (on my FNB Online banking profile) both the old credit card and the new credit card. I cannot move any cash out of the original card account, and I don't have the card for the 'new' platinum account (the one I never took delivery of).

Since my first message on 16 May, I have been waiting for someone to call me back with repeated assurances from the twitter team that I will be called back.

If I need to go into a branch to sort this out, just tell me that. I don't have time for this and I don't appreciate being strung along.

Thanks
