Does FNB want to do business with any of us as it surely does not look like it from the service they are giving.

I wanted to open a business account with FNB. They keep asking me for documentation via email, that I HAVE ALREADY SENT. I've also called their Business Banker number ( ********** ), spoke to Ntumpi Simka as well as Ethel Mlisa. The matter is still not resolved. I've also sent emails to their customer care email address without any reply. Their requesting documents email states EITHER OR, which entails that I may mail a copy of document COR 14.1 or COR15 but now they insist (only telephonically, after I CALL THEM, as they never call ME!!!!) that I render COR14.3, which I do not have. Why would their requesting mail state EITHER/OR and why am I making all the phone calls but they do not call, or even reply to my emails. I am frustrated to the point of considering another bank for business. I've posted a Google review and sent emails to the customer care email address but have not received any communication from them. I have also tried numerous times to send a contact me on the FNB website with just an error message that prevents me from sending it.

Wait a minute, I just spoke to Busi from the HelloPeter team at FNB. I explained in detail why the statement "we apologise for any inconvenience caused" is a copy and paste reply (including the "it has been routed to the relevant department") and does not leave the plaintiff/petitioner with any hope of a resolution. It also bears no relevance to the person actually taking responsibility of the situation as there is no personal I AM SORRY I CAUSED YOU AN INCONVENIENCE. But still, Busi replies publicly with that statement!!! Shows how much she really listened when I spoke. Busi, this is why I laughed when you called this morning. I could hear the tone of your voice was that of a person reading a script. You didn't fool me. you surely do not care.

And so, many more "motivated" FNB retainer department employees called and all promised the moon and the stars, like Tinyiko Baloyi, that "will definitely have it sorted out before the end of the day". The funnies conversation was with Solomon, that explained that he is just calling because he understands my frustration and will surely deliver a bunch of flowers and a hand written note of apology from the persons that messed-up the most. This, he promised, will of cause happen, before FNB activate the account. That was Thursday, last week. On Saturday I received an in-contact message: Dear valued customer • FNB :-) Bus a/c ...835164 was not used for a period of 35 days since opened. Kindly transact on a/c to avoid closure. Contact ********** 000 for queries. 09Mar 07:00 That number does not exist. Now, what am I supposed to do next?
