Do your job
I settled (paid up) and closed an FNB credit card in November last year. The credit card is being picked up by Experian as "open" with a total amount outstanding. You can imagine what this is doing to my credit record. Called FNB- Spoke to Grace Sekele who ensured me the communication was sent to Experian (but could not send proof) and she will get her manager to call me back. Almost 2 weeks later- I still did not receive a call. Disputed with Experian who is saying FNB did not send them the communication. This is a classic case of PASSING THE BUCK. Someone did not do their job. WHY has this not been actioned or at least dealt with? FNB are blaming Experian. Experian are saying they did not receive any instruction form FNB. Where does this leave me as the "Client"??????
