Do you actually care about your clients when they need help???
My employer stopped paying salaries to most of the staff members in November 2018.
On advice from my attorney I resigned in March this year due to constructive dismissal, non payment of salaries and ill treatment of staff.
My employer has refused to issue retrenchment letters to any of his employees, and has been backed by the L.W.O. all the way.
I had my CCMA case but as I was unable to prove the 3rd criteria required for constructive dismissal, I lost my case.
All of my debt protection and life insurance policies with FNB have been cancelled, this despite me trying for months now to get FNB to help me.
I used to be private banking client. FNB was quick enough to throw all the money and perks at me when I was benefiting them.
Now with an employer who stopped paying me, no retrenchment letter to claim from the policies, no CCMA win, being unable to claim UIF, and being unemployed since March, I am being handed from attorney to attorney. My credit record is in a holy mess as interest and legal fees are just adding up, and this is in turn affecting my chances for employment.
I have sent through affidavit after affidavit with zero response or assistance from FNB.
So my questions to FNB are - What ever happened to customer service? Am I not protected in some way under the new debt amnesty law? Surely there has to be something that can be done to assist customers in my situation?
I was always a good and loyal customer, but now I am just being treated like trash because I ended up in circumstances that were completely out of my control!!!
