DO NOT try to open an account with these guys..

<p>I have been trying to unsuccesfully open an account with these clowns now since February 2016, it is now May. The account shows on my profile but is inactive. It has been ping-pong emails for documents, then silence, then the same documents requested again, over and over... I've had to phone them MANY times to find out what's happening, only then to be told, oh sorry, we're waiting for documents (WHICH I ALREADY SENT!!!). I then ask them to check again, and.... oops, sorry it was here all along, we'll ESCALATE this. After a week I phone again.. Oh sorry sir, we are waiting for documents (SAME ONES!!). I even went to a branch with all my docs, asked them to send it through. They promptly forgot. Service in branch was great, then when you try and follow up, these people just don't call back, or are always out on lunch or in a meeting. It seems that the whole management structure of FNB just has lunch and meetings the whole day, and that the plebs answering the phones have no clue what they're doing.</p> <p> </p> <p>HOW DIFICULT IS IT TO JUST COMMUNICATE FNB? Is there no humans left except for your call center plebs?</p> <p> </p> <p>It seems Michael Jordaan started all these great tech ideas at FNB but they just left it half-done when he left. Now everything only works half-way. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, expect any customer service from anyone in this bank that actually knows what's going on.</p>
