Do not switch to FNB Premier

Good day,

I would not encourage anybody to switch their bank account to FNB. I have made the switch to an FNB Premier account more than month ago and it has been the worst, most horrific banking experience I have ever had.

They do not deliver on what was agreed upon, I have spent hours on the phone trying to sort out problems that should not have existed in the first place. I have visited a branch on their recommendation, due to issues they could not resolve through telephonic or electronic channels, which also did not resolve the particular issues. Their turnaround time on getting back to their customers is ridiculous, if they ever do get back to you.

I really feel like I have made the wrong decision switching to FNB.

Sincerely

Jaco Meyer

Reviewer Update

Complaint review submitted 01/11/2016. 10 days later and nothing has been resolved. They rarely contact me and I have to keep following up with them.

Yesterday I was told that due to an total legit query made on my credit profile with ITC (which is in a perfect status), they cannot process my overdraft which was previously approved.

My Credit Card application have also been going on for more than a month and I also do not receive feedback on it. It really seems like the different departments have no idea what is going on in the others and I'm being transferred on to the other with no result.

I am at the point now where I will cancel all applications and go to another bank as soon as I can switch my debit orders back, which I had to switch half myself in any case. I doubt that I will ever consider banking with FNB again.

Sincerely

Jaco Meyer
