DO NOT SWITCH TO FNB CONNECT - you will regret it

I recently moved my kids pre-paid lines to FNB on a data package. What a nightmare. Except for giving me the wrong simcards, then having to stand again in a q at the bank for over an hour to get the correct sized ones, eventually online. But the data coverage is very poor. So I want to switch back. Sorry, you can't without giving us 30 days notice. Explained how **** the service is. Not interested. So we have to struggle for another 6 weeks not being able to contact my kids online. In the same time my wife ported since she started a new job and needed more talktime and data. Went into FNB bank. Opened cheque account. App**** for FNB connect. Did the number port. When the previous sim went offline, she also received the wrong sized sim. Started the job on Monday without being in air. Went to FNB branch, replaced the sim. Got online, no package loaded. Called. Escalate. Two days of frustrations received SMS contract declined. Have to be with FNB for 3 months. So why on earth did they port the number if she had to wait for 3 months?? Called again. Escalate. Asked that her number be ported back to her old provider. Nothing happened. Called again. Eventually contract loaded! Minutes but no data. Called again. No you do not qualify. OK. JUST CANCEL EVERYTHING AND PORT ME BACK PLEASE!!!! Escalate. Eventually port request done. What about next months payment already taken. Called again. It will be refunded within 48 hours. Guess what. NOTHING happened. It is the WORST company to deal with. Don't switch. The ads sounds glorious. It is a hopeless bank.
