DO NOT open a business account with FNB if you need the account in a month or so...

I made the mistake of selecting to open an FNB business account when registering a new business via the CIPC Bizportal. This was 24 August. I did receive a business card a week later. But no amount of holding on and emailing requested documents can get the business account open. Holding times on the business banking line is long (10 minutes +) and when you get through they ask you to wait a day or two more, they are very busy.
