DO NOT EVEN TRY SWITCHING TO FNB
I have been trying since April to switch to FNB online- n the 13/11/14 I physically went (leave) to the Menlynsq branch to hopefully switch that day. FNB consultant (H. Muller) told me that my debit orders would be changed within 2 weeks. Because of this he made me stop my Notice Deposit SAVINGS account at STD Bank. I emailed Muller the information, I also asked him the status of the FNB account - no response. A week later I took leave AGAIN from work to activate my ebucks and to get my FNB Chq card. Asked again about debit orders. H.M was not there. Teller took a message & told me that Muller would contact me the Mday & I should not be worried. She also said I can immediately start earning ebucks. I proceeded to spend money at Makro, Kalahari & Checkers because of ebucks. But according to Pulani (FNB) a week later: I do not qualify. The ONLY capable person called Lee Loseph indicated to me that a \box"was not ticked on my e-bucks & I was earning at a lower rate because my salary is still not being deposited into FNB account because my debit orders are STILL at STD bank & now they lost a form. I have physically lost work hours"
