DISPUTE OVER FNB SAVINGS POCKET ACCOUNT

ON THE 9TH APRIL, FNB ref ********** NF . I wish to advise that the matter was not settled amicably. I was sent a copy of the savings rules and regulations (never ever seen before) and according to the bank re para.8 I am not entitled to any recompense. At no time was there a reason or an apology forthcoming as to why I was not given the rules and as to why they could not contact me and advise me at the time if there was a problem. THIS IS MY MAIN BUGBEAR, I reiterate at no time was my cheque account not active, my personal details etc etc off the bank books. I know the interest is minimal on the savings account but now it is the principal of "I dont care attitude" which is coming forth. Well I do care, and I expect an apology and the wrong to be rectified by the bank. As stated in my letter of 15 April, to FNB CARE (Orelia) if I was never advise that the account had been made dormant and the reasons therefore how on earth was I supposed to claim the money at that time. I am therefore still waiting for the interest and reasons why I was never contacted. This savings account was opened at either the Rivonia or Northgate branch. My cheque account is STILL with the Northgate branch and I have not heard from them either.
