Disgusting service from FNB
FNB decided to put my account on hold due to proceeds of alledged ***** being deposited into my account, non the less, I was not notified of such until such time I decided to make purchases with my card at the local convenience store, upon my card declining twice, I decided to get hold of FNB, the 3rd time around I was lucky enough to get through a consultant who advised me that my account was placed on hold, she provided me with contact details of the investigator, but as usual these people don't answer thier phones, the investigators name is Thabo Lebepe, I sent him an email, shortly after he responded to advise that the hold has been removed, if I had not followed up with FNB and if I was unaware, the hold would have still been on my account, this has affected my debit orders which I now have been phoning to sort out, as a result I am now having to do unnecessary EFT which are costing me fees. The sad thing is that as a long standing client with FNB, no decency to give me a courtesy call to enquire what the deposit was for, the deposit into my account was rental income of R11 000 from my tenant, I do not believe that my account should have been placed on hold as there was no ********** activity on my part what so ever, I am absolutely appalled by this type of action that FNB took.
