Disgusting service from FNB

On Sunday 14th July a ********** transaction of R3311,05 was made on my credit card in favour of airbnb. I did not authorise the transaction as per 3D secure procedure, I only received an sms notification. I immediately reported this to FNB who canceled the card and promised to investigate and get back to me within 3 to 7 days. This is day number 4 and still no word from FNB. I also contacted airbnb regarding the ********** transaction and they responded within a day and assured me that the transaction will be reversed. However they declined to provide further detail of what exactly happened and where the transaction was done - they said my bank should provide those details. FNB has failed at the very least to inform me, who did the transaction, where and how! I believe these are details that are readily available on their systems. They have also failed to tell me why there is a difference of R230,80 on the money that was refunded by airbnb when i was told that the full amount will be restored to my account. I am extremely disappointed by the lack of care shown by FNB. My account was compromised and 4 days later, no one has said anything about what exactly happened even for details that are readily available on their system.

It is sad that, I still get the standard call centre response - "you'll get an update in 7 - 10 working days" really? I would rather find a bank that cares about its clients, not one that insults their intelligence. It is unacceptable that as a client, I am not given pertinent information. How do I even know that my account is safe now?
