I would herewith like to share my experience with what happened to me on 27 January 2025, at the FNB Hazyview branch:

I went to the Hazyview FNB branch where I met with the business banker, he was explained that I was inter*** he was extremely polite about it, had a look at the ID and the system and understood . However, he was delayed by us as he had to attend a meeting and handed us to a lady called Lucy he explained to her that I was inter*** ( 2 gendered ) as i make this clear as it seems FNB SA had no intention of training their staff about these matters .The business manager left and the lady refused to assist us stating I was not the person I front of her . I then asked her to do a fingerprint scan or a home affairs facial recognition in turn she kept on ignoring what I kept on requesting. I eventually called the customer care line and requested to speak to the branch manager. They informed me his name was Richard. I gave the phone to Lucy. She brought me a person with the name Bridget. The biggest shock I had was when I gave her my CIPC certificate showing that I'd been the main director for a very long time and the only director and all other directors had left long ago . She looked and me and said I don't see the owner and refused to assist

Now all necessary removal of old directors was emailed and corresponded to FNB and was accepted . The lady Bridget refused me access to My own account stating I am not the owner

Thus said I bank 2 mil a year at your bank . And I am being discriminated against like we are in the dark ages as it's OK. Well I don't think so I give you the option first to respond prior to me going to the media and laying ************** charges and seeking legal counsel . Insuring this never ever happens to another person

I request a formal apology From the branch and seek HR do their work . In turn I wanted to be contacted asap by someone capable and educated in inter*** that will handle my account at your branch from now on

I find this despicable and I am horrified that you even allow people of that low standard in your organisation and yet every month I contribute to their salaries. It's is clear the focus is money and money only and staff has the right to treat normal hard working people like animals

I am disgusted !!!!! And I think the rest of the country would feel the same if this comes out .
