Disgusted by FNB

<p>I recently visited the FNB branch in Main Street trying to open a cheque account. I explained my story with the service lady and gave her background information about the troubles and issue with regards to my financial status with the credit beuraues. She was very helpful and explained that i'm on risk level 3 which will prevent her from opening an account for me. But she can call the Risk Department and try and see if they cant reduce the risk level for her to continue with the application. I once had a bond which owes 70 000 and arrangements are in place and its being paid and serviced as per the agreement. I also had a credit card which is with their legal department. The last time i checked it, i owed 14 000 but was told now its 33000. So apparently this two puts my name in bad books with the bank. So I said I can make the arrangement to pay the credit card just as long as I get to have an account with them. The lady told me based on my earnings I qualify to be on Private Banking but if because of my risk, i don't qualify, then they can open a Premier Account for me. And I added that I don't even need an overdraft or loan I just wanted to have a proper banking account. But guess what? The lady from their risk department came back to her and said, NO, the bank cant open an account for me despite any of the above, unless I settle what i owe. Arrangements or not, they just cant accept me as a client.</p> <p>So I'm disgusted with their service and I will just have to settle what i owe them and close the two accounts I have with them for my son and daughter. They just suck period.</p>
