Disgusted

I am an fnb private client or shall I say a so called “private client” -I have app**** for a guarantee with the bank and have been waiting for 3 months now- promis upan promise but nothing. -I had also app**** for a credit card machine- assured that it was done. Called to enquirer after a month and was told that fnb was busy reviewing my account and a decision was still to be made. I called merchant services directly and obviously they had no application on their side. I now had to reapply and when they finally delivered my machine, it was the wrong one. -I contacted my banker for assistance with car finance, she advised that I would not get finance for whatever reason. I filled out an application with the dealership and was approved immediately. So why have fnb given me private client status if I have had to do everything myself. -I app**** for a credit card and was declined without any reason. I called my banker to query and she advised that she would come back to me. I app**** with Nedbank and they gave me 2 credit cards immediately.

After all done and said, I am in a high position with multiple businesses. I sent fnb a courtesy email with the hope that they would at the very least send me an email back. I am still waiting on this. Now unfortunately, I still bank with fnb and had to get a replacement card on one of my accounts. They have cancelled the wrong card on a totally different account and sent me a replacement card which I will have to pay for..

I strongly advise anybody reading this to consider that as a private client, with business accounts, vehicle finance, investment accounts etc receiving service on this level. Please do not consider banking with fnb.. I have had a great response with immediate feedback from standard bank as well as Nedbank..
