Disgusted

I previously complained regarding a payment made into an account I opened for my son and got a call from John Volmink on the 04.09.2019 notifying me there was a ********** transaction and didn't hear anything further from him. On the 11.09.2019 I complained on Hello Peter shortly thereafter Angelique Feldman call me Ref No. ***NF to let me know she was unable to assist and John will be in contact with me. Today its 3 weeks and still no response from John when I asked for someone else to handle the matter I was told he is dealing with it.... Clearly nothing is being. There is no common decency for a courtesy call to let me know whats happening. I am utterly disgusted in the way this has been handled and I only opened the youth account for my son with FNB because the benefits were catching but they should include in the fine print at the bottom that customer satisfactory was not part of the benefits or a priority.

Morning FNB Team,

So further more to my complaint I had to do my own investigation as to who transferred the money in my son's account and made contact with the lady and explained to her that i was willing to transfer the money back by John was not being helpful, after numerous calls to him we arranged that I would arrange to leave work earlier (being based in Madupi 2hrs drives to JHB) the following Friday and I would go to the Goldman branch the Friday and give him a call and he will arrange with the consultant to arrange to unfreeze the account and transfer the money and when I got there John was not answering his phone and eventually I had to leave because the branch closed since that day I have heard nothing from him.

Today, 8 months later I get a sms notification that the money was transferred out of my account not sure by who and where it has been transferred to because when it comes to courtesy calls from FNB that does not exist. So I took it once again upon myself to call the ***** department to query this and I am told to go back to the branch to get the relevant information.

What is most upsetting about this is that i did not make this ********** transaction but had to do my own investigation to find out who did, it was not my responsibility to transfer the money back to the rightful owner but i left work earlier to assist in getting this done and 8 months later FNB does not have the decency to notify my how far is the case what is the process further and whether or not the account has been re-activated, which in fact they can do me a favour and close that account

FNB is not the bank i do my business with but fell for their marketing departments ads sugar coating all the services they have available but they do not have a department to support issues raised by these ads.

Opening up that account with FNB has been the worst experiance i have ever had with a bank and my mistake...........because the grass is not always greener on the other side
